<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inner core of a terminal member engaged with an inner core from being buckled or deformed. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal member body 36 of an end member 31A has a cable side insulating cylinder 4A for inserting the terminal of a power distribution cable and a unit side insulating cylinder 5 for passing a pin contact. The insulating cylinder 4A of the member body 36 is formed of an ambient temperature shrinkable material. A large inner diameter 36a having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of an inner core 27 is provided in the cylinder 4A, and a distal end of the core 27 is engaged within the cylinder 4A so as to be disposed in a large bore 36a. The end of the core 27 does not receive a compression force but can prevent the core 27 from being buckled or deformed. When the cylinder 4A is radially enlarged, an excess stress is not generated, but the cylinder 4A can be smoothly radially enlarged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
