<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor with a structure capable of reducing the maximum outer diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor is provided with a compressor main body 5 sucking, compressing and discharging refrigerant gas, and housings 2, 4 divided in a shaft direction and connected to each other. A connection part 4a is provided inside of the housing 4 at one end, and a rod-shaped connection member 30 is inserted through the side face of the housing 2 at the other end and connected with the connection part 4a. The main body 5 is stored in the housings 2, 4, to constitute a pressure vessel. The maximum outer diameter can be reduced by eliminating a part projecting outside of the container, thereby improving vehicle mounting properties for an automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
