LOST PATTERN FOR PRECISION CASTING, MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR PRECISION CASTING LOST PATTERN AND CASTING MOLD, PRECISION CAST PART AND ROTARY MACHINE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precision casting lost pattern which can manufacture a cast easily at low cost and is easily applicable for production of a large cast product, a manufacturing method for the precision casting lost pattern and casting mold, a precision cast part and a rotary machine using it. SOLUTION: An elastomer mold 20 whose inside cavity 23 is copied from the lost pattern is prepared, raw materials including a foaming agent is put inside the mold 20 and foamed to transfer the profile of the cavity 23 to the precision casting lost pattern 70 made of a forming material, and then the lost pattern 70 is stripped out of the mold 20 after hardened. A slurry composed of refractory material as an aggregate is applied and dried over the outer periphery of the lost pattern 70, then heated and pressurized by an autoclave while the lost pattern 70 inside is mostly removed. The slurry is further heated and sintered to manufacture the precision casting mold 90 by complete thermal decomposition of the lost pattern 70 inside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
