PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce assembling cost and to shorten assembling time by decreasing the number of structural components of an inkjet head without sacrifice of conventional functions thereof thereby saving the labor and the time required for the assembling work. SOLUTION: The inkjet head comprises an inkjet head chip having an ink ejection opening in one end face, and a structure for holding the inkjet head chip provided with an ink channel for introducing ink externally to the inkjet head chip. The structure comprises a manifold mounted on the side face of the inkjet head chip and forming at least a part of the ink channel for supplying ink to the inkjet head chip, a cap receiving part fixed to the side of the manifold arranged with the ejection openings and recovering/sustaining the ejecting conditions of the ejection openings, and a frame member for mounting the inkjet head chip, the manifold and the cap receiving part.
