PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive material containing resources derived from organisms. SOLUTION: There is provided the adhesive material containing a natural organic compound derivative which is derived from a natural organic compound with an average molecular weight of 1,100 or less having two or more of one or more active hydrogen-containing groups selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, a primary amino group and a secondary amino group by substituting the hydrogen atom of at least one of the active hydrogen-containing groups by an amide with a vinyl polymerizable group. The vinyl polymerizable group of the natural organic compound derivative polymerizes under conditions that initiates vinyl polymerization such as heating, light irradiation and addition of a radical polymerization initiator. The natural organic compound molecule in which the hydrogen atoms of two or more active hydrogen-containing groups are substituted by amides with vinyl polymerizable groups forms a crosslinked structure by polymerization. In addition, the natural organic compound molecule with an average molecular weight of 1,100 or less has not so high flexibility in a molecule, so the polymer thereof provides a hard structure which allows adhesion of other members.
