PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-liquid discharge device with durable electrode interval regulating mechanisms capable of automatically regulating the interval between electrodes without moving the discharge device from its installation location and capable of easily continuing always stable discharge. SOLUTION: The in-liquid discharge device performs discharge in a liquid between a pair of electrodes 1, 1. Each electrode 1 is equipped with an electrode interval regulating mechanism 100 by providing an electrode holder 3 which holds and releases the electrode 1, cylinders (driving mechanism) 5, 5 to move the holder 3, and stoppers 6-1, 6-2 which define the moving position of the holder 3, whereby the electrode 1 held by the holder 3 is moved within the range defined by the stoppers 6-1, 6-2 to regulate the interval between the electrode 1 and the other electrode 1.
