PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a projection part on a tray for receiving a puff without performing groove work for projection part formation to a mold and to accelerate a molding speed regarding a compact provided with the projection part for floating the puff on a puff housing part, its working method and cosmetics. SOLUTION: In the compact to which the tray for the puff is disposed, a gate hole 62 provided with a projection part 111 and a recessed part 112 is formed at the central position of the tray 24 for receiving the puff by injection-molding the tray for the puff by using the mold.
