PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leader-breaking phenomenon in a fishhook mainly used in fishing of Girella punctata. SOLUTION: The fishhook is constituted by bending the whole from the lower part of the shank 2 to the point 4 so as to form an arc and so that the point may be protruded to the gap 5 side and the protruded width A of the point to the gap side may be≥1/4 of the maximum width part B of the gap.
