METHOD FOR CREATING SEAWEED BED AND CREATED REEF OF SEAWEED BED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for creating (a method for constructing) a fishing bank and a fishing ground with which damage to useful algae by eating with herbivorous fishes, etc., can be suppressed when a seaweed bed (seaweed community) of the useful algae is developed. SOLUTION: The fishing bank is composed of an epiphytic part 2 for epiphytizing the algae, a first fishing bank part composed of fishing bank blocks 1 making piscivorous large-sized fishes 5 live and a second fishing bank part making nonherbivorous small-sized fishes 6 to be baits taken by the piscivorous large-sized fishes 5 live and composed of columnar structural parts 3 having the epiphytic part for the algae. The piscivorous large-sized fishes 5 threatening the herbivorous fishes are made to live. Thereby, the herbivorous fishes are kept away from the seaweed bed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
