PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which has a buffering function and a drying function in the container without reducing the effective volumetric capacity of the container. SOLUTION: The container 1 comprises a container body 2, a cap 3 for capping an opening 4 of the container body 2, and a buffering member 8 inside the container 1. The buffering member 8 is a molded body made of a thermoplastic resin mixed with a desiccant of magnesium sulfate represented by the chemical formula: MgSO<SB>4</SB>-nH<SB>2</SB>O (0≤n≤3). Inside the container 1, the buffering member 8 is made into a cylindrical shape having an expandable/contractible bellows part and is fitted integrally on the back of the top face 7 of the cap 3.
