PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin cap whose body has a double wall structure to improve the separate disposability of the cap. SOLUTION: According to the cap body, an outer cylinder is formed via a horizontal connecting part 42 horizontally extending from the outer surface of a cylindrical side wall, and an outer cylinder tearing area (X) and a cylindrical side wall tearing start area (Y) are consecutively formed circumferentially. The thickness of the horizontal connecting part 42 is made small in the outer cylinder tearing area (X), and is made greater than that in the tearing area (X) in the tearing start area (Y). At the end of the tearing area (X) opposite to that of the tearing start area (Y), a first weakening line 52 is formed to extend from the lower end to the upper end of the outer cylindrical body. At the boundary between the tearing start area (Y) and the tearing area (X), a second weakening line is formed on the interior of the cylindrical side wall to extend axially up to the position corresponding to the top of the horizontal connecting part, and a third weakening line continuous with the upper end of the second weakening line is extended circumferentially.
