<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe for improving bending resistance in a connection line connecting an acoustic part to be rocked inside a sealed vessel to a fixed signal processing part. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: an element part (1) with a plurality of piezoelectric bodies arrayed therein for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic wave; a relay cable (2) for transmitting the signal of the element part (1); and a rotary axis to be the rocking center of the element part (1). The relay cable (2) has an S shape or reverse S shape cross section in a vertical direction with respect to the rotary axis. It is favorable that the shape of the vertical direction cross section with respect to the rotary axis of the relay cable (2) is formed by two similar curved surfaces which are symmetric with respect to a virtual point, and also the rotary axis may exist at the side of the center of at least one curved surface.
