COMPREHENSIVE CHECK SYSTEM BY VISUAL IMAGE FORMING AND ELECTRONIC SENSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comprehensive check system for an active plate of a liquid crystal display (LCD).

SOLUTION: The system can combine a visual image forming check and electronic sensing such as voltage image forming, electronic beam sensing and electric charge sensing. In the system, information on possible failures acquired from a visual check system is combined with information on possible failures acquired from an electronic sensing system to create a failure report. One or more high resolution visual cameras are scanned on a fixed plate and image data from the cameras is processed to detect the possible failures. The electronic sensing system with high resolution checks the fixed plate and image data from a sensor is processed to detect the possible failures. The possible failures from visual image data and electronic sensing image data are processed to create final failure information.
