<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release position adjusting device for a foot pedal in a vehicle capable of adjusting the release position of the pedal without displacing an operated member, with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This release position adjusting device for the foot pedal in the vehicle is provided with an adjusting lever 10 attached to a bracket 90 fixed to a vehicle body, rotatably and in an angle position holdable manner. A brake arm 31 with a brake pedal 30 fixed to the lower end is attached to the adjusting lever rotatably around an axis parallel with a rotation axis. A clevis 35 fixed to a push rod 34 is connected to an intermediate part of the brake arm. A connection point of the clevis at the arm is disposed on the rotation axis of the adjusting lever to the bracket in the nonoperating state of the brake, and when adjusting the release position of the brake pedal, the rotation axis of the brake arm to the adjusting lever moves parallel along a circular arc around the connection point of the clevis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
