PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system in which optical performance can be stabilized by improving the assembly accuracy of lenses. SOLUTION: The lens system is provided with a plurality of supporting rollers extending in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis on the outer periphery of a holding member for holding lens members. These supporting rollers engage with the straight grooves of a stationary tube disposed to guide the holding member in the optical axis direction and the curvilinear grooves provided on a rotary tube rotating around the optical axis, thereby guiding the holding member in the optical axis direction along the lift of the curvilinear grooves according to the rotation of the rotary tube. At least one supporting roller among the plurality of the supporting rollers has an adjustment structure to adjust the position in the optical axis direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
