PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor joint cover device which is formed of a cover body bridging a joint between floors of respectively adjacent buildings to cover the same, a slider arranged at one edge of the cover body, and a rail member arranged along a side edge of one of the floors to slidably bear the slider in a direction along the joint, wherein the one edge of the cover body and the side edge of the floor opposed to the cover body do not form a gap therebetween. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the floor joint cover device, an edge bearing portion of the rail member 17 bearing the slider 16 is formed into an inclined edge bearing portion 17a which declines toward one of the buildings, and a force is always applied to the slider 16 such that the slider 16 is biased toward the one building A. Thus when the one edge of the cover body C is tightly abutted on the side edge of the floor f1 of the one building A, even if vibrations are generated due to traffic of passengers and vehicles on the cover body C under normal conditions, the position of the cover body C is held normally, and therefore no gap is formed between the one edge of the cover body C and the side edge of the floor f1.
