PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an oily or water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic which is obtained by using an oil-soluble natural colorant, is highly safe, exhibits sufficiently high stability to light, heat, and the like, and has a red-orange appearance. SOLUTION: This oily or water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic comprises a palm fruit oil as the natural colorant. The cosmetic is highly safe, exhibits a beautiful red-orange appearance and has stability to light, heat, and the like. Especially an oil obtained from a palm fruit of Malaysia growth exhibits a clear deep red, particularly has stability to light, heat, and the like, emits no smell characteristic of a vegetable oil and is suitably useful as a colorant.
