PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressplate which can assure a stable plate mounting state by preventing the plate from lifting. SOLUTION: In the pressplate in which a locking piece 3b of a gripper end side (top side) and a locking piece 3a of a gripper side (bottom side) are inserted into a slit groove 6 of a plate cylinder 4 of a rotary press and mounted in the plate, a bulged part 7 bulged to an outside for holding the piece 3b of the gripper end side (top side) in the slit groove by a force of a spring at the piece 3a of the gripper side (bottom side). The bulged part 7 may be formed over the entire length of a locking piece 3 or formed at an interval in a lengthwise direction of the piece 3. The bulged part 3 may be formed in a shape pressed to the locking piece of the the gripper end side (top side) from the inside by a plunger provided in the slit groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
