PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine with an edit function, which enables the accurate locating of an embroidery position of an embroidered pattern, enables a change in the embroidery position concurrently with that, and enables even a beginner to enjoy embroidery easily. SOLUTION: This sewing machine with the edit function is equipped with a pattern storage means for storing the embroidered patterns, a pattern selecting means for selecting the pattern, an embroidered pattern frame storage means for storing an embroidered pattern frame, an embroidered pattern frame selecting means for selecting the embroidered pattern frame, a display means for analogously displaying the embroidery layout of the pattern and the embroidered pattern frame, selected by these selecting means, and a changing means for changing the embroidery position of the embroidered pattern frame.
