An organopolysiloxane containing units of given formula as defined below is new. An organopolysiloxane containing at least one unit of formula (I): at least one unit of formula (II), and at least one unit of formula (III) is new: R = monovalent optionally substituted hydrocarbon, R', R3,R4, R7, R8 and R9 = as for R, R1 and R10 = H or as for R, R2 = -C(=O)-NH-R3 or -C(=O)(OR4), R5 = H or structure (IIIa), X = -C(=O)-R8, N=CR92 or as for R, R6 = divalent optionally substituted hydrocarbon, a = 1, 2, or 3, y = 0 or 1. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method of preparing the organopolysiloxanes where in a first step an OH-terminated organopolysiloxane is reacted with silanes of formula (V): and or their partial hydrolysates:R and R1 - as above, R11 = as for R, and the amino groups of the reaction product from the first step are reacted (sic) with compounds selected from:isocyanates, reactive isocyanate derivatives and reactive carboxylic acid derivatives and converted to urea- or carbamate groups, and optionally in a third step the organopolysiloxane obtained in the second step is end blocked with silanes of formula (VI): X and R7 = as above and a' = 2, 3, or 4; (2) compositions crosslinkable by a condensation reaction, containing organopolysiloxane as above; (3) mold parts obtained by crosslinking of the above compositions.
