FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC BAR FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURE REINFORCEMENT

PURPOSE: A fiber reinforced plastic bar for the concrete structure reinforcement is provided to secure the enough safety when using as stiffener for a concrete structure. CONSTITUTION: The fiber reinforced plastic bar(2) for the concrete structure reinforcement contains fibers(4,12) functioning as stiffeners, and bar-shaped resin layers(6,10) placed in the fibers(4,12). Wherein the primary fiber(4) has small strain and the secondary fiber(12) has large strain to make plastic strain before a secondary fiber(12) is destroyed after the primary fiber(4) is destroyed.
