PURPOSE: A scanning device for a laser printer is provided to achieve a simple structure of the scanning device and to easily control the scanning device without additionally correcting a scanning line. CONSTITUTION: A scanning device includes a light source section(101) having first to fourth laser diodes(L1-L4), a collimate lens section(102) having first to fourth collimate lenses(C1-C4), a first light radiating section(103) having first to fourth dichroic mirrors(M1-1-M1-4), a cylinder lens(104), a scanning unit(105) having a polygonal reflective mirror(106), an objective lens(107), a second light radiating section(108) including fifth to eighth dichroic mirrors, a synchronization detecting sensor(110) and a third optical member(111). The light source section(101) is aligned in parallel to each laser diode in series.
