PURPOSE: A device for continuously controlling an intake quantity of an engine is provided to reduce the intake resistance and improve the fuel rate of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A device for continuously controlling an intake quantity of an engine includes a cam(160) formed with a large width in the axial direction, and a cam shaft(161) formed with a spline part(162) at a side to be engaged with a cam driving gear(150) to freely move in the axial direction. Thrust ball bearings(190) are connected to both ends of the cam shaft and racks(200) are connected to the outside of the thrust ball bearings. The racks are engaged with pinion gears(220) of step motors(210), wherein an ECU controls the step motors. A hydraulic adjuster(170) is mounted with a ball(171) contacting the cam.
