Disclosed is an electroluminescent device capable of forming a layer having a luminous resin, which has been regarded as impossible to be patterned, into a specific pattern while keeping high uniformity and good quality of the layer, selecting the viscosity of an ink material used for forming the layer in a wide range and also selecting a solvent used for preparing the ink material in a wide range, and shortening a time required for fabrication of the device. The electroluminescent device includes a transparent pixel electrode (2), a cathode composed of layers (9), (10), and (13), and a hole transport layer (4) and an electron transport emitting layer (5) which are disposed, as layers having a luminous region, between the transparent pixel electrode (2) and the cathode, wherein at least the electron transport emitting layer (5) is formed by transfer of a constituent material of the electron transport emitting layer (5) in accordance with a relief printing reverse offset method. <IMAGE> |
