RESIN COMPOSITION FOR OPTICAL PARTS AND OPTICAL PARTS

A resin composition which comprises (A) a polyarylene sulfide, (B) an amorphous resin, (C) a non-fibrous inorganic filler and (D) a fibrous inorganic filler, wherein the volume proportion of the sum of the components (A) and (B) to the total of the resin composition is 30 to 70 vol%; the mass ratio of the component (A) : the component (B) is 0.65 to 0.95 : 0.35 to 0.05, and the volume proportion of the component (D) to the total of the resin composition is 3 to 25 vol% and optical parts prepared by forming the resin composition. The resin composition is highly useful as a material for forming an optical part that minimizes deviation of the optical axis of an optical system due to temperature change.
