VALVE STRUCTURE FOR CHANGING COMPRESSION RATIO OF ENGINE

PURPOSE: A valve structure for changing a compression ratio of an engine is provided to increase the compression ratio of a reciprocating engine for realizing an optimum compression ratio for engine rpm and load. CONSTITUTION: In a valve structure for changing a compression ratio of an engine, suction and exhaust valves(60,70) are trumpet-shaped hollow tubes, and push-pull bars are formed with contact parts(341) having hemispheric sections at front ends. Ends of the push-pull bars is protruded to the outside of the suction and exhaust valves. A flutter(380) having a high elasticity is inserted into front ends of the suction and exhaust valves respectively, wherein the flutters are welded to the contact parts. The suction and exhaust valves and the push-pull bars are protruded to the outside of a cylinder head(30), wherein the exposed ends thereof are formed with inner caps and covered by external caps formed with slots. An actuating pistons of solenoids(370) fixed to locker arms(130) contact the inner cap via calipers.
