PURPOSE: A transmission line for reducing a λ/4 transmission line is provided to form the minimized transmission line under the high impedance by reconstructing the λ/4 transmission line with a parallel coupled transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A transmission line for reducing a λ/4 transmission line includes a first side and a second side. The first side of the transmission line is connected to an input terminal or an output terminal. The second side of the transmission line is formed with two or more separative transmission lines. The first side of the transmission line is connected to the ground through a capacitor. A size of the transmission line is reduced under the higher impedance than 200 ¥Ø. The transmission line is used for one of a directional coupler, a power divider/combiner, a rat race coupler, a balun, a 90° transformer, a reflective type phase shifter, a reflective type attenuator, an I-Q modulator/demodulator, a balanced mixer, and a balanced amplifier.
