PURPOSE: A camera for a cellular phone is provided to hide a camera unit in an insertion hole, and to preserve the camera unit inside of the insertion hole, thereby protecting a lens of the camera unit from an external shock and freely controlling an angle of the camera unit. CONSTITUTION: An insertion hole(22) is formed on one side of a folder(16) in order to hide a camera unit(20). An elevating unit(24) is formed on one side of the insertion hole(22) so that the camera unit(20) is exposed outside of the folder(16) by elevating the camera unit(20). A camera elevating key(26) is configured on one side of a body(12) or the folder(16) in order to select an elevation of the camera unit(20) by operating the elevating unit(24). When the camera unit(20) is not used, the camera unit(20) is hidden inside of the insertion hole(22), preventing a lens(18) from being damaged or foreign substance from sticking to the lens(18).
