Safety support made of injectable elastomeric material for a tyre

A safety support has circumferential inextensible reinforcing threads embedded in elastomer formed under pressure in a closed mold. The support has complementary reinforcing threads radially outwards from the reinforcing threads and lying axially relative to elastomer supply ports in the mold. The complementary threads may be at≥60 degrees to the circumferential direction. Each set of reinforcing threads may be a cloth.
