Non-woven fabric comprises interconnecting fluoro fibres and does not have a substrate. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a laminate containing the non-woven fabric and a support material; (2) a string obtained by twisting the fabric; (3) a method of reinforcing a non-woven fabric by heat and pressing; and (4) the non-woven fabric obtained.
