PURPOSE: Assembling structure of a rear body for a vehicle with a tailgate is provided to improve torsional rigidity of an opening part of the tailgate by assembling a rear end member and a side member, and to distribute collision energy to the rear side member and the side member at a rear-end collision. CONSTITUTION: A box type rear end member(12) is installed horizontally in the lower part of a rear body of a vehicle, and connected to the end of a rear side member(11) arranged longitudinally to the vehicle body in the rear part of the vehicle. A side member(13) is combined with the rear side member, and installed at the side of the rear body with a tailgate. The end of the side member is contacted to the outside of the rear end member. A bulkhead(15) is installed in the rear end member, and overlapped with the side member. Both ends of the bulkhead are extended upward to enlarge the contact area with the rear end member. Strength of the rear end member is increased, and the assembling rigidity of the rear end member and the side member is improved.
