PURPOSE: An array substrate for reflective liquid crystal display and a method for fabricating the array substrate are provided to improve luminance and viewing angle of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate for a reflective liquid crystal display includes a substrate(100), a gate line(106) formed on the substrate, a data line(120) intersecting the gate line, a pixel region defined by the gate line and data line, a thin film transistor that is formed in the pixel region located at the intersection of the gate line and data line and has a gate electrode(102), an active layer(112), source and drain electrodes(116,118), and a reflecting electrode(132) connected to the drain electrode and formed at a pixel region. The reflecting electrode has uneven surface. The reflecting electrode completely covers the data line. The array substrate further includes the first electrode(108) protruded from the gate line to the pixel region, and the second electrode(124) extended from the drain electrode to the pixel region. The first and second electrodes construct an auxiliary capacitor. |
