PURPOSE: A method for compensating for measured errors of a sensor is provided to make informed system errors of the sensor and uninformed system errors determined independently and to make the system errors compensated independently. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating for measured errors of a sensor compensates for measured errors of the sensor comprising informed system errors(2), uninformed system errors(3), and arbitrary errors. The informed system errors and the uninformed system errors are determined and compensated independently. A characteristic curve by at least one measurement value about the informed system error is previously determined and stored and a compensation value about the informed system error is determined relative to each measurement value of the sensor in connection with the characteristic curve.
