PURPOSE: A method for displaying a caller of an unreceived wire telephone call is provided to transmit caller information for an unreceived wire telephone call to a mobile phone of a subscriber if the same subscriber is registered in a mobile phone CID(Calling Identity Delivery) service, and to transmit a text message to the mobile phone if the subscriber is not registered, thereby quickly confirming the caller information. CONSTITUTION: Mobile phone information of a registered subscriber is registered in a receiving subscriber DB(301). If a call is received to the corresponding wire phone subscriber, a PSTN confirms whether the call is received until a timer expires(302). If not, the corresponding wire phone call is determined as 'unreceived', and the PSTN confirms mobile phone information of the subscriber(304). The PSTN searches a mobile phone gateway switch of the subscriber, and transmits the unreceived wire phone calling information to a mobile phone network(305). A CID service is confirmed through a mobile phone subscriber DB(306). The PSTN confirms whether the subscriber is registered in the CID service(307). If not, the PSTN transmits the unreceived wire phone calling information to an SMS center(310), transmits the information to a receiving MSC(311), and displays the information on a mobile phone(312).
