PURPOSE: Provided is a post supporting device used in a post type hanger to prevent the hanger from tilting over or moving caused by impact by rigidly supporting the post installed upright between floor and ceiling to the ceiling. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a supporting axis(22) at front end(21) of an upper post(20); a multiple contact side(24) extending outside from the supporting axis(22) and closing to ceiling side(70); and at least one contacting end(25) to support and retain vertical balance of the upper post(20) through the multiple contact side(24). The device further has spring inside the supporting axis(22). The post type hanger typically comprises a lower post(30) standing upright on inside floor(80); the upper post(20) coupled to upper side of the lower post(30) in height adjustable manner and to contact the ceiling(70).
