PURPOSE: To provide an actuator in which a thrust can be improved and a size can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: The actuator comprises a first yoke plate 10, a second yoke plate 20, magnets 31 to 34, coils 41 to 44, a tactile exhibiting member 70, and a coil fixing member 71. The plates 10 and 20 each has a flat plate state of a substantially square shape in a profile and are provided in parallel with each other. The magnets 31 to 34 are fixed to the surface of the two surfaces the yoke 10 opposite to the second yoke plate 20. The coils 41 to 44 are operably provided between the magnets 31 to 34 and the second plate 20, and integrally fixed by the fixing member 71. Electromagnetic forces are generated in the coils 41 to 44 by magnetic fields generated by the magnets 31 to 34, and hence the member 70 supported to the member 71 is moved.
