PAPER DETECTING APPARATUS OF IMAGING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A paper detecting apparatus of an imaging device is provided to improve productivity and reliability by detecting a feeding paper and papers stacked on a paper feeding cassette by using one sensor. CONSTITUTION: A paper detecting apparatus(100) includes an actuator(110), a paper sensor(120), a first slot(142) and a second slot(134). The actuator(110) is rotatably coupled to a hinge shaft(105) installed at a bottom of a paper feeding route(140). The actuator(110) has a Y-shaped structure including a first lever(111), a second lever(112) and a third layer(113). The center(115) of the actuator(110) is rotatably assembled with the hinge shaft(105) installed at the bottom of the paper feeding route(140). The first lever(111) is positioned in a sensing area of a paper sensor(120) if the feeding cassette has no paper therein.
