PURPOSE: A double effect model absorbtion type refrigerator is provided to rise temperature at which hot water is generated by re-heating absorption liquid and heated hot water in a single waste heat recovery heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: A waste heat recovery heat exchanger(31) is installed in a chimney(30) of a high temperature regenerator. The waste heat recovery heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchanger(32) and a second heat exchanger(33) connected with each other in vertical direction, and having an inlet formed on a lower part of the first heat exchanger, and an outlet formed on an upper part of the second heat exchanger. The inlet of the waste heat recovery heat exchanger is connected with a branched tube(181) of a tube(18) delivering absorption liquid with moderate concentration from a high temperature heat exchanger(7) to a low temperature regenerator(3). The outlet of the waste heat recovery heat exchanger is connected with a branched tube(182) so that the absorption liquid with moderate concentration passes the waste heat recovery heat exchanger while delivered from the high temperature heat exchanger to the low temperature regenerator. An outlet of a cold water/hot water heat exchange tube(5') installed in an evaporator(5) is connected with the inlet of the waste heat recovery heat exchanger by a connecting tube(34) parallel to the tube.
