An electromagnetic horn comprises a housing 1 in the form of a resilient light pressing or plastics moulding which vibrates and when mounted may be tuned to resonate with harmonics of the natural vibration frequency of the diaphragm. The housing is flanged at the top to seat the diaphragm 7 and has moulded annular grooves 12, 13 and ridges 11 in the base to locate the magnet assembly 2, 2<1>. A bolt 3 serves to secure the magnet core 2 and to mount the horn on a support 4. The coil 2<1> and the connecting wires which run in grooves 9 are secured by moulding-resin. |
