RAPID CULTURING METHOD FOR PHELLINUS LINTEUS MYCELIUM USING GRAIN

PURPOSE: A method for rapidly culturing Phellinus linteus mycelium using a culture medium obtained by mixing cereals with a promoter such as glucose or the like is provided. Various kinds of cereals are used as a medium and the amount of culture products is be easily controlled. Also, a high functional food is produced without adding artificial additives. CONSTITUTION: Cereal such as rice, barley, wheat, corn or the like is washed with water 10 times or more, added with a promotor such as glucose(3%), starch(2%) or the like and then sterilized to give a culture medium. The sterilized culture medium is inoculated with Phellinus linteus mycelium and cultured for about 25 days at 25 to 28deg.C.
