PURPOSE: A device for processing video signals of a source device and a display device used when transmitting video signals through an optical fiber is provided to enable a source device to synchronize a video signal with a clock, and to synchronize the video signal with a display clock of a display device, thereby overcoming synchronization. CONSTITUTION: A video mode decider(200) decides a video mode of a video signal to be transmitted to a display device. A memory controller(201) controls to parse video information inputted from a video processor of a source device in horizontal synchronous signal period unit, and controls to record the parsed video information. A memory(202) records the video information in horizontal synchronous signal period unit. An optical transmission video synchronizer(203) reads the stored video information in horizontal synchronous signal period unit, synchronizes the read information with an optical clock signal(L_CLK), and outputs the synchronized information to an optical signal transmitter.
