PURPOSE: A data interface device is provided to receive an optical signal inputted from a source device, and to convert the signal into 10-bit parallel data, then to convert the data into 8-bit parallel data by decoding the data, thereby exactly restoring the signal. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal receiver(300) receives an optical signal transmitted from a source device. A clock generator(310) generates a clock signal. A serial/parallel converter(320) converts serial data of the optical signal into 10-bit parallel data, and outputs the 10-bit parallel data according to the first clock signal(CLK1) and the second clock signal(CLK2). A 10-bit/20-bit interface(330) converts the 10-bit parallel data into 20-bit parallel data. A 10-bit/8-bit decoder(340) inputs the parallel data from the 10-bit/20-bit interface(330), and simultaneously 10-bit/8-bit decodes the two 10-bit parallel data by dividing the data in 10 bits. |
