FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in belt conveyors, roller beds, transporting devices operating in metallurgy, mining and coal industries, construction and road-building machines and agriculture, i. e. in all industries and mechanisms where transportation systems are used. Roller of belt conveyor contains shell, axle, bearings whose outer races are fitted in bearing cups secured in end face parts of shell, and inner races are secured on axle, and bearing seals. Bearing cups are united into monoblock hollow rod-housing installed coaxially relative to axle and made in form in form of tube with widening conical adapter sections and end cylindrical parts-bearing cups. Bearing cups of rod-housing are secured in end parts of shell by means of ring supports. Improved rigidity and manufacturability are provided owing to elimination of cocking of bearing cups.
