PURPOSE: A water heater is provided to simplify the structure of the water heater so as to improve the efficiency of heating water. CONSTITUTION: A water heater is composed of a case including an upper body having a heating tank(111) and a cover, a middle body having a receiver(121) for the heating tank, and a lower body having a combustion chamber, a gas tank(10) having a discharge port, a valve(11) for controlling the flow of combustion gas in the gas tank, a gas injection nozzle(20) for injecting the mixed gas of the combustion gas with air into the combustion chamber, a gas igniter(50) for igniting the mixed gas in the combustion chamber, and a gas discharge control lever connected to the lower body to operate the gas injection nozzle.
