PURPOSE: A footpath block using crushed particles of waste tires and a forming method thereof are provided to reuse the waste tires as crushed particles, to secure footpath blocks of the rubber properties having the peculiar elasticity of the tire, and accordingly to obtain footpath blocks or tiles for minimizing influence for peripheral environments after construction by repressing fluidity. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming footpath blocks(20) using crushed particles(10) of waste tires is composed of steps of forming crushed particles containing metal pieces by finely crushing waste tires except for a bead wire at the size of 2¯10mm; putting a vulcanizing agent of 2¯7 wt% into the crushed particles to increase elasticity; coating the crushed particles with an adhesive agent of 5¯20 wt% to adhere the crushed particles; filling a mold with the crushed particles coated with the adhesive agent to form a predetermined shape; and pressurizing and forming the crushed particles filled in the mold at high temperature.
