PURPOSE: A device for improving performance of a car hands-free system is provided to install a directional microphone and a non-directional microphone in a car, and to set the directional microphone to a voice source direction when a voice source is received from the non-directional microphone, thereby improving microphone performance. CONSTITUTION: A non-directional microphone(103) receives a voice source of a car when a hands-free kit is driven. A directional microphone(105) receives a voice source of a driver's seat or a passenger seat in the car when the hands-free kit is driven. A switch(102) selects the non-directional microphone(103) or the directional microphone(105). A solenoid actuator(104) drives the directional microphone(105) toward the driver's seat or the passenger seat. A hands-free unit(106) performs an echo canceling and noise canceling process for noise of the voice source received through the non-directional microphone(103) or the directional microphone(105), and outputs the voice source. A controller(101) controls the switch(102) with the non-directional microphone(103) or the directional microphone(105), detects a direction of the voice source by analyzing a signal outputted from the hands-free unit(106), and controls the directional microphone(105) in a direction of the voice source.
