PURPOSE: An expandable sunvisor for a vehicle is provided to secure high sunlight cut-off efficiency by regulating the degree of shielding sunlight by the expansion of a downward sunvisor and to prevent a front visual field from being interfered by the expansion of the sunvisor by making the sunvisor into a transparent acryl plate. CONSTITUTION: An expandable sunvisor for a vehicle is composed of a sunvisor(10) of which the upper end is installed to a head lining(1) to move upward and downward; a housing groove formed in the sunvisor with having an in-and-out hole at the lower end; a first magnet fixed to the upside of the housing groove; a hanging sill arranged to the housing groove to limit the in-and-out hole; a downward sunvisor(20) housed in the housing groove, and came in and out through the in-and-out hole; a second magnet fixed to the upside of the downward sunvisor; and a hanging unit formed at the upper part of the downward sunvisor. The downward sunvisor is a transparent acryl plate coated with colors.
