FIELD: metallurgy; production of iron ore pellets. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of moist burden to pelletizer plate, modulating burden forming descending pouring layer and ascending layer of pellets and treatment of pellets with moist burden introduced into flow of compressed gas, thus forming gas-moisture- burden jet which is oriented towards ascending layer of pellets; treatment of pellets is performed by spraying moist burden on their surfaces. Pressure of jet exerted on surface of pellets ranges from 50 to 400 Pa. EFFECT: enhanced strength of pellets. 1 dwg |
