BLOCKING APPARATUS OF EXTERNAL AIR FOR IGNITION FURNACE

PURPOSE: A blocking apparatus of external air for ignition furnace is provided to effectively block inflow of the external air into the ignition furnace to suppress generation of non-sintered ore in sintering plant. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for blocking external air flown into an ignition furnace comprising a main burner(15) installed on an upper part of a proceeding course along which sintering car(3) of the sintering process is proceeded, an upper plate installed on an upper part of the main burner, and side plates extended to a lower side from the upper plate so that the side plates are spaced apart from a side part of the sintering car, the apparatus comprises a lower protrusion bent to a lower side after being extended to an outer side from a certain position of the side part of the sintering car, and a fixed stand(107) bent toward the side part of the sintering car after being extended to a lower side with being adhered to the side plates of the ignition furnace; an upper protrusion installed at an end part of the fixed stand so that the upper protrusion is connected to the lower protrusion in a labyrinth type; and an air exhaust pipe(108) installed at the fixed stand so that the air exhaust pipe is connected to a wind box(13) installed at a lower part of the sintering car in such a way that air is communicated between the air exhaust pipe and the wind box, wherein the external air flown in the ignition furnace is exhausted to the wind box along the air exhaust pipe as air in the upper part of the sintering car is being sucked into a lower part of the ignition furnace through the wind box.
