FIELD: mass-exchange apparatus; absorption and rectifying columns. SUBSTANCE: multi-layer packing contains horizontal corrugated cloths provided with holes and made from broached drawn sheet; corrugations of adjacent cloths are relatively perpendicular; lower parts of corrugations are blind. Screen laid between cloths has ports with guide doors. Blind parts of corrugations or distributing chutes are sectionalized in length by vertical partitions. Edges of distributing chutes are toothed.
